I am absolutely thrilled with these coco pods! Prior to my Grobo experience, I had only used rapidrooter plugs or rockwool cubes for germination/seedlings, and I am grateful that I have been exposed to these coco pods through using my Grobo so that I can use these in the future as a replacement. The coco pod is an ideal medium and I love how well it retains water and supports the seedling.

Coco pod came pretty fast in the mail.

These proved to be very useful. They aren't finish and are rough around the edges but they work and are flexible in how you use them which I appreciate.

I had a few issues getting the Grobo on my WiFi and required some help. I arranged a phone call and it came as scheduled on time, Steve was great and got me up and running, after 5 days the seed popped, hope the picture is here as proof.I’m a bit disappointed in the cabinet being light tight. The cabinet is not 100% cut to its dimensions properly, the cabinet is leveled correctly. I will certainly be very happy after I see the first harvest, overall I’m a happy dude.

My plant is growing well so I don't have anything negative to say about the product, as it's clearly working.

I will say that by not allowing growers to use their own nutrients, you're probably creating a situation you're trying to avoid. The community will always hack and likely figure out how to replace the nutrients with off-the-shelf products out of resentment for not having been given the option.

If you have a great product, allow people to choose it. People prefer choice. Many will purchase from you just to support the business (like me) but only if you create loyalty grounded in trust and transparency.

Stock up just in case! I ran out of the number 4 during the second week of flower only to find out that Grobo was moving their warehouse and the shipment was delayed. It took 3 weeks to get it and my grow was severely diminished. I am not a quick study but did realize that it is not smart to let your chemicals run low so I ordered multiples of each. In addition to having backups, the shipping cost per bottle was greatly reduced. So unless you are not planning to start another grow it only makes sense to plan ahead!

This kit was put in the store just in time! My probes were in need of a cleaning and one of my plants was showing it. After I cleaned the probes ( while growing ) the results were instant and the plant thanks me. I advise all to try this kit if your having ph issues or swings.

First unit arrived broken and was a bit of a hassle to return and get a replacement, but Grobo made it right and took care of me which I am very grateful for. The second package arrived with the box wide open (thankfully not damaged again) so I think these guys have some serious work to do on their packaging. It’s a 90 pound package that’s traveling across the country & it seems like an overhaul in design is necessary. It would save them hundreds if not thousands of dollars in shipping returns / damages. I got my new unit after about a month delay and started growing no problem. It really does seem like a very high quality product. The $2200 US is a bit of a turn off but if this thing successfully grows a pound in its lifetime, I’ll consider it a win. Also their support is top notch and very responsive, also use All Growers to your advantage, there are a lot of helpful people on there!

Nice growing kit easy to install plus it takes the guess work out.

Grobo Makes growing extremely easy not having to worry about checking ph and ec levels twice a day. Change the water once a week and it does the rest. I have been adding some House and Garden supplemental nutrients when I do the refill and everything looks great. On day 20 of a Tangerine Dream from Barney’s. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

3 year extended warranty The grobo 3 year extended warranty is a must have when truing to achieve a worry free grow experience! I never have to worry about parts and it comes with great guidance from the grobo team. I'm normally not the warranty type but I jumped at the chance to secure my purchase because it can be the determining factor in saving any grow you put your time, money and efforts into. Three whole years of worry free growing is a great way to achieve a green thumb!

GROBO - Take the stigma out of home grow I've been following this company since they were introduced to me back in the Velocity Garage in Kitchener, On. It's great to see this company grow and mature through the many iterations to perfect this virtual automated indoor grow machine. It's perfect for first time growers as there are a ton of recipes. Customer support is amazing and their horticulturalist is a genius - They've provided many simple easy to follow how-to videos and have a great community support forum for like minded customers to share their growing experience and ask questions. The unit is beautifully designed, uses advance technology and completely removes any negative stigmas around home grow. I recently received mine and now can't wait to cultivate my first grow. I've had nothing but amazing healthy growth with these supplements. I'd say the biggest thing is sticking with RO instead of tap water. If you can't, it's not the end of the world. Just my absolute preference from experience.

I was skeptical, but seriously it's amazing. Let me start this review off this way: I do not have a green thumb. My thumb is so un-green, I regularly kill even the easiest-to-care-for household plants.

When Grobo came around, I jumped on the pre-order (I think I was one of the first handful who did) because I immediately saw the value of a self-contained growing apparatus that provided everything a plant needs, and certainly everything far beyond my ability to provide.

Grobo doesn't just provide your plants with light. It provides the specific spectrum of light for the specific plant you are growing.

Grobo doesn't just provide your plant with nutrients. It has five separate bottles that control more than nutrients -- including pH. And it also monitors these levels constantly, so your plant is always receiving the best possible source of everything it needs.

Grobo does't just come with a passive reservoir of water. The water is constantly oxygenated and cycled through the systems.

And the results? Honestly, I was skeptical at first. How is this (albeit, cool looking) thing going to grow me gorgeous plants, even when I forget there's a plant in there I probably should be minding. But it does. It grows magnificent plants, and I can access the app from anywhere in the world to virtually check in on things.

Literally the only thing you have to do to grow with Grobo is fill the water reservoir every now and then (the app will prompt you when you need to, too), and throw a seed into the growing medium. Seriously. It's amazing.

complete starter kit is good base to start with.. The Grobo starter Kit provides everything you need to begin a grow, including the nutrients in numbered bottles and a coco pod and air filter. There does not seem to be a price break for buying them as bundled, but after a typical grow, you will not know what nutrients remain in any quantity, so having a complete set to start makes for a much quicker turn around for your next grow.

Blast Off ! My Grobo arrived today and within an hour my newly conceived baby Bruce Banner Hybrid is set in the coco womb and ready to grow grow grow. I was an early adopter in August of 2016. My patience will be duly rewarded. Thank you Bjorn and all of the Grobo crew for making your dream and everyone else's come true.

It delivers more than expected I was thrilled to be asked to be a beta tester for a Grobo, and the unit delivered more than I expected. The device itself turned into a naturalized entertainment unit for the family. It looked good in the corner of our living room, and the different lights always triggered curiosity and conversation among friends and family. I was taken back by how enthused my teen-aged kids were with the care and nurturing of the plant, who were eager to use the basil we were growing. I love plants and gardening, and the opportunity to "connect" with the plant was a bit of a concern, but it enabled the process in a different way. Checking on moisture, humidity and nutrient levels through the app to monitor its growth was a fun way to show people what a Grobo was, and how it worked. After our testing phase was over, we returned the unit and we're looking forward to getting our final product in February and beginning some new growing adventures.

Nice box. The materials used are clearly high quality and it is sturdy. Quite heavy so hard to move. I'm not far into my grow but it looks good so far.

My Grobo ARRIVED!! I was one of the first people to buy Grobo in the fall of 2016... it was a long wait to say the least... but my grobo has arrived!! It was so exciting coming home to this huge box. Honestly the product looks better than I expected. The wood and metal really make it feel nice too (it's a bit heavy but I like that). Setup was nice and easy. I didn't have a big bucket so it took a bit longer to fill my Grobo, but I'll definitely pick one up before I have to change the water. I'm only a couple of weeks into my grow but it's been smooth sailing so far and my baby plant is growing up so quickly!

Grobo.. the power of automation To the many listeners out there, this is for you...

Grobo is a joy to own and operate. The days of pitching a grow tent, or dropping a mint on a multi plant platform, and monitoring this and that IMHO belong in a museum. I get by with one plant, and I get one that becomes the sole focus of this unit's attention. Suits me fine, thank you very much.

I'm a novice grower, and honestly, I don't have the patience, or the time for that matter, to educate myself on the troubleshooting that comes with not having a clue how to grow when things don't work out as planned. I have never come close to my wits end with this Grobo. Any prob. is automatically corrected under the watchful eye of the Team @ Grobo.

I spend under $2.00 CDN on distilled water every seven to 10 days, and the nutrients do the rest. Grobo has done for me, what I have requested, and I'm fairly certain it will do the same for any grower regardless of their commitment level.

Lastly, the resources are available for experimentation if I wanna tweak a plant every now and then. In this case, experimentation will no longer become a risky endeavour if I choose to do so when my curiosity peaks.

Awesome product. It was quick to set up and looks gorgeous. At first it was a bit louder than I expected. I emailed support for a resolution and I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly they responded and implemented a solution. They have implemented a quiet mode and the sound is much more tolerable now. My plant is growing well and I'm excited for the first harvest!

I can finally grow! I've been wanting to start growing for years but I kill just about everything. I looked into grow tents before but was worried about trying to keep a ton of plants alive. With Grobo the system takes care of the work and whenever I have a question or concern their support team has been super helpful. As a bonus, my wife and I both love the design and I'm not sure I would grow any other way!

The Grobo team was always there to help We were beta testers for Grobo and have loved it! The app is intuitive to use and it really took very little work to enjoy a great harvest. As an added benefit the Grobo team was able to access our unit and help when we did have a question at the beginning.
